Who we are

Wix Specialist (the "Studio", "we", "our") operates wixspecialist.com. We are the data controller for personal information you submit through this site or share in the course of an engagement.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, deliver work you have hired us for, and improve the experience of this site:

• Contact data: name, email, company name, role, the contents of your enquiry.
• Project data: material you share during an engagement (briefs, assets, credentials with managed access).
• Usage data: anonymous aggregate analytics — page views, device type, country, referrer. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
• Cookies: strictly necessary cookies only. See our cookie policy.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and quote your project.
• To deliver agreed-upon work and manage the engagement.
• To send you the journal newsletter only if you have opted in.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, contractual records).

Lawful basis (GDPR)

We process personal data under one of: (a) your consent, (b) the performance of a contract with you, (c) our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us, or (d) compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Sharing & sub-processors

We do not sell personal information. We share only with carefully selected sub-processors required to run our business:

• Email infrastructure — for transactional and newsletter delivery.
• Hosting & CDN — for serving wixspecialist.com.
• Analytics — privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics.
• Calendaring & meetings — for booked calls.

Each is bound by a Data Processing Agreement. We will not transfer personal data outside the EEA / UK / Switzerland without Standard Contractual Clauses in place.

Retention

Enquiry data: 18 months from last contact, then deleted. Engagement records: 7 years (legal/tax retention). Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Subject to local law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email us at privacy@wixspecialist.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you via the email you provided.
